Which year bose cd player would be the best to buy for my 1992 maxima. I don't want to install a cd player that will die on me in two months. thanks guys.

do you really want a bose cd player?

why not go with a pioneer or clarion or alpine...anything besides bose.

Sticking with a bose is a much better choice for the 92, if you're not willing to spend a lot of money. Otherwise, if you go with a non-bose head unit you're going to have to buy all new speakers and wire them all up. To get the same kind of sound quality you also need to spend a lot of money and possibly get a sub woofer which means an amp, which means a wiring kit. So my advice, if you're not a huge audiophile, then jsut get another bose head unit.

 

Bose head units are made by clarion. I have looked into getting an aftermarket unit, and they(circuit city) say I have to re-wire all the speakers. I am really not looking to do that. I am just trying to find which bose model has the least amoung of error codes. thanks for your help guys.
