Wires get old?

Do the power/remote wires get old? Do I have to replace them at all?

I took out my old system.. and left the wires in the car for about a year now.. and I'm deciding to put a new one in here soon... so I'm wondering if I have to pay to get new wires...

Usually they wouldnt...but there is sometimes a case when the exposed copper at the ends are oxidized. Check to see if your power and remote has been crimped along its jacket, or torn when you remove it, if it it hasnt, it should be fine.

Yeah, I would do as above and clip the ends to remove the oxydized portion.
