Stay away. If you wamt Infinity then go with perfects and nothing else. For that much $ I would rather go with something like Kicker CompVR... or similiar... Its not how many subs you have.. its have good they are that counts in your system performance.

I haven't heard many of them myself, but I do know that I have seen alot of refurb or blown infinity 1220s on ebay. That scares me alot.

I have 2 12" references in my car and I like them a lot. My friend has 1 12" perfect.... and 2 references sound similar to the 1 perfect. I have no complaints.... but I also dont bump all the time..... I just wanted some extra bass, and the price was right. rockfords, kicker, and mtx all have the "bumping" reputation.... when I just wanted good, clean sounding bass (not necessarily that loud). any infinity speaker fits this, in my opinion.

I had (2) 1020's and powered them off a bazooka 1500 (500watts rms at 2Ohms) then I sold that and got used a JL 300/4 temperary (sp) with them. Soon after that I sold them to a friend of mine because I crashed my car. He is powering them with a 1000w sony amp and its wired to 640watts rms at 2 ohms right now I believe. He plays the subs much harder than I ever could and they are holding up just fine. they sound really good aswell.

well i eventually decided against getting the infinity. they will do fine but i really crank it up most of the times and afraid that'll bottom out on me. I will upgrade my Punch Z tens to the fosgate HX2 tens. Those subs can really pound, if you give them plenty of juice thanks for the feedback! btw, anyone using the HX2s?
