need help with 12" audiobahn sub

need help with 12" audiobahn sub

anyway a 775watt mtx class d amp(2 channel) using only 1 channel is it possible to blow my 12" audiobahn flame sub, 1100watt RMS(model 1206Q)? anyone who can help?

possibly...audiobhan's are known for not being able to take anything close to their rated RMS power. keep the gains down on your amp and you should be fine.

My audiobahn is taking 800watts rms instead of it 1000 watt easy


And greenmax take your sub out and make sure none of the wire's didnt come loose . Maybe the screws came out cause of vibration cause you didnt tighen them well.

you can blow a sub with a 10watt amp. If the distortion is bad enough, any speaker can blow. Is it possible that you may have had the volume high enough that it was distorting the sound?
