Power Wire Route for 5th Gen

Could someone please provide me with the easiest route from the engine bay to my trunk for 1/0 Awg wiring?
I would like to know if there is any existing groumet that I can use in the firewall or do I have to drill my firewall
I have not actually looked at my firewall since the weather here in NJ SUCKS and my car is covered.

Thanks

Run the wire on the drivers side. You will have to take the cover off the inside of the wheel well. It will expose a big grommet that already has a big wire loom in it. I taped the wire to a long screwdriver and was able to force it in there. Then just run it along the moldings all the way down.

do it right. Find the clutch plate up against the firewall, get a step-drill bit(aka. Unibit) and a large enough rubber grommet.

I appreciate everyone's input!

NY96MAX,
You think that if I run it through the existing groumet like MAXIMAMAYBE stated, I may run into some problems?

How is that right? What's wrong with using existing holes?

There is absolutely no problems using the existing grommet like I said before. I would always rather use something that exists rather than drill a new hole in your car. The wire fits fine. It will take some elbow grease to get it through though.

Do you know what is the largest size wire that may be able to pass through?
I also do not like to drill into my car.

You could probably fit a 0/1 in there if you needed to. Plenty of room. The larger the wire, the bigger hole you have to punch in the boot, that's all. I ran a 4 gauge, plenty of room for larger.

Here is a link to some pics of the wire run, pics 4 through 7 specifically. The forum filters my web address, but replace the *** with a s s. http://kojiro.kicks-***.net/08/Photo...Samurai\Stereo
