Power invertor needed to install redmax LCD?

I was wondering is a power invertor need to install redmaxs or any other lcds? If so how many watts should it be. Also do you tap into the cigarette lighter to hook the power invertor up?

You do not need an invertor for the monitor itself. It is only used if hooking up a game system (ie: PS2,Xbox,etc). Anything that is run off of 110/120 volt.
