Very nice. 1 question though. Why did you face the subs to the front instead of the rear? I have had experience that facing the subs to the rear improves the SPL.

It does now. It seems that I didn't tell it to copy the link correctly, so it only copied the text. I've since fixed it, but the actual link is at the top of this thread.

That looks too sweet Studman. I'm going in on Wednesday to get a box built with a flush mount trim panel in the trunk as well. Not nearly as fancy or expensive as yours, but hopefully as clean looking

Yeah. A Rockford 550X. 62.5w @ 4 ohms x 4 channels.

do you have any custom kickpanels, etc. too?
Nope. I actually used the factory speaker locations, including the A-pillars for the tweeters. The biggest custom part was the trunk. I hid the cap and power distribution because I didn't want to clutter up the trunk. I had mirrors installed in the box for looks. The same with the neon tubes. And I had the amps mounted with the endplates on, for a unique look. There is a "punch-link" in between the 2 amps that give it a "one-big-amp" look. I splurged a little extra for that.
