CD changer for 2003 SE

Hi,
I have a 2003 se without bose.

I want to put a Maxima 6-Disc Autochanger in and I was wondering if anyone else tried to install this.
Is it hard? do I need to run wires to the radio or are the wires already installed?
here is the link http://www.nissan-accessories.com/PP.asp?PID=318

Thanks
Wayne

You will need to run a cable from the CD changer back to the factory HU. I'd check to see if that changer comes with the cable before you buy it.

Also, USA Spec makes a changer for the 2002-2003's that are cheaper than the OEM stuff. The model number is SCD-N66E. Crutchfield has it for $299.99 and it says this... "This high-quality 6-disc CD changer plugs into the factory system using the cable adapter — no wire splicing or confusing modifications". I'd look for the unit elsewhere on the net to see if you can get a better price on it.

But if you want the OEM stuff, then make sure that changer comes with the cable before you buy it.

In the dash? Isn't that where most HUs are located. The cable plugs into a connector on the back of the radio.

So I would need to remove the radio?
Sounds difficult.
