Remote sub gain control with any amp?

Hi, I feel stupid asking this question because I was MECP certified about 8 years ago, but I haven't kept up to date on any new products since then.

Anyhow, is it possible to add an in dash gain control to an amp (like Infiniti Basslink has)? I have a Punch 150ix or something like that, but I want to be able to control the sub volume from my dash. I will be using a line out converter with my stock head unit, so I have no options on the head unit for sub volume control.

So, is it possible to add a remote gain control? I can't even imagine how it would be wired, but I thought I'd check anyhow.
