StealthBox Help

I am looking to pick up a JL Stealthbox and 250/1 amp for my 99 Maxima. I went down to the dealer to check prices and they are talking about $1000 for box, amp, subwoofer, and install - way too much IMHO. I am looking to spend around $600 or so. I am willing to buy used, but I can't find the stealthbox for sale anywhere (I have been watching maxima.org like a hawk and ebay as well). Does anyone have any suggestions? Do these prices sound reasonable? Specifically, these are the quotes:
Subwoofer and Box - $500
Amp - $350
Install w/ parts - $100

where are you from? I know in the MA area you can pick up just the sub/box for round $300. Don't buy their amp, find a good one on the org or ebay that will be so much cheaper, and do the install yourself

Turns out GRKMCHN was wrong, he PM'd me. I called everywhere and lowest I can get is $450. I am going to pick it up and a used 250/1 and install it myself, for about $750 total. Well worth it in my opinion for a great sounding system without compromising trunk space

Ya, you're not going to find one below about $400. There's no reason you cant install it yourself either. Biggest pain is drilling the hole for the bolt, and thats not bad. Get a buddy to help, and save yourself the cash..........
