Hey guys, quick question. I got a 98 GLE and was wondering if I could fit a head unit and an eq in the stock opening? And if so does it require any triming or anything? I havent picked up the car yet (next sunday woohoo!) and I am ordering my system now and wanted to make sure before I checked out. Thanks in advance.

 

You should be able to.
I have a 95 with a Hu and an EQ right underneath it. The opening is double din, so there shouldn't be any mods necessary as long as you buy a Din size eq. I'm assuming that the 98 opening is similar to the 95.
