I have mine mounted under my driver's seat. Fits pretty well and haven't had any problems. I run one controller under my seat and another I have in the back seat pocket.

 

back seat pocket??/ whats the deal with that??? I dont have those.

 

I have a 98 I30. Maybe the pockets are only on I30's? I know that maxs don't have rear seat headrests. The pocket is actually on the back of the front seats, back seat passengers have access to it.

I thought Maximas had at least one seat pocket behind the pass. seat? At least, on my friend's 99 it did. As for headrests, I don't think Maxima ones tilt either, like the I30s. I also just found out that the cargo net isn't a factory item. The I30s have hooks all over the trunk area, but when looking at my friend's 99, he didn't have it.
