Have some trouble installing components

I took the driver side door apart and realized I had no clue as to which wire(s) will run into the input of the crossover. Do have to cut a certain wire? If so which one?

Thanks

I may be able to help, but I'm not completely sure what you are asking? Are you planning on using factory wires to go from the HU to the crosovers?

you left out some specifics, but i will try to help as best as i can. i have the infinity components. you run the stock wires to the input on the crossover as if it was a speaker.

Where would I find these wires? Are they from the harnesses of the speaker and tweeter?

I'm sorry for not being specific. This is my first time doing components.

you don't have a bose system do you? If you do, i'm pretty sure you can't use those wires at all.

I have Bose and I used wires that go from the radio harness to the amplifier harness in the door. I believe the driver's side wires were yellow and brown. they were the same colors on the factory radio harness. I have to pull my door panel off anyway, so I'll double check and get back to you. If you need help, let me know and we can meet up. I live in RI.

well....there may be changes there. The NENOC group wants to reschedule that meet because it's the same day as Import Wars. I don't think there is going to be until July. I'll still meet up with you, if you would like. Sundays are usually good.

OIC, I haven't checked since the last time you posted a thread about the meet.

I think we should meet up. Sundays are good for me too.

mayeb we can meet closer to the middle, so you don't have to drive that far. I'll just have to pack up the tool box again. I just took it out of my trunk.
