How many amp fuse...? (real question)

i got my knukonceptz.com wiring kit yesterday. pretty sweet.
it came with an 80 amp in line fuse that goes close to the battery. i have a zapco studio 100x (30 amps fuse i think) and a zapco z100cl (30 amps fuse i think).

my question is...should i leave the 80 amp fuse in the holder or should i put in a lower rated fuse since my 2 amps only add up to 60 amps max draw?

thanks
kevin

You will be fine with the 80 amp fuse. You can change it to a 60 amp fuse, but it is not neccesary. The amps also have fuses for further protection.

The fuse is only there to protect the wire. Not the amp. If your amp kit is 4awg then you will be just fine with an 80 amp fuse.
