NEED OPINION: old system vs new system

Hey guys, need some audio guru opinions...

My current setup:
Kenwood HU MP919 (motorized face w/mp3)
Hifonics Industria Hercules mono block (500watts @ 2ohms)
2 x Infinity Perfect 12.1s in sealed enclosures
Sony XM4045 bridged 2x 100RMS
Rockford Fosgate Fanatic X 6" components
power distrubutions, and all wired up..

Now here is the question..
I am thinking about starting over in my 2k3...was considering

1 KICKER SOLOBARIC L7 15" sub (dual voice coils)
RF BD1000 amp (1000w RMS)
New headunit (not sure which ones)
New components (not sure which ones)
RF 300S for highs amp

What to do?

It will hit MUCH harder than the previous setup. You will lose a little SQ, but it will be worth it. Big box with a port that meets Kicker specs and you will be set.

damn, you getting rid of your MP919, i just got one in march (i can't afford to buy the newest newest stuff)

Anywayz, i used to have 1 Perfect 12s and they diffently lacked in the SPL department. But what kind of bass are you looking for? Did you like the SQ of the perfects? Do you want deeper bass and were the perfects loud enough for you?

Not sure about the RF amp, i heard even their higher line of amps were lacking in quality compared to those of the past. depending on what subs you get, the MTX1500D (or whatever, not sure) will put out over 1000watts rms but only at a 2 ohm load. has all the features you could want include the remote bass control.

I heard the JL comp set is nice, not sure about the model, but it runs like $220 online.

Focal speakers are the way to go. I love mine, plenty of SQ from them, and never harsh, at any volume. That sub will downright pound if done right.

Interesting, SPL wise, i just want it a tad bit louder, i know my subs handle near 500w/RMS a piece, and SQ wise, they sound fantastic with every top of music..

Its just i guess in the maxima, it requires a little more power, and a lot more subs.. It just doesnt' sound loud enough..

As for highs, the RF fanatic X components seem to sound a little weak, compared to my previous components (earthquake CS-6)... I am thinking maybe just spending all my money on a 3 way set for the front and save up for maybe a really good setup for the rear..

So many options

Just get some cheaper coax's from the rear......you dont sit back there, so F the ones that do, its YOU that rides in that car alot, so get some damn good components up front and some coaxs for the rear. Trust me, you will be MUCH happier doing it that way.

Whoops, i didn't mean rear as in rear fill, i meant rear as in subs (i don't believe in having rear speakers)..
