subs acting weird, need help!!!!

This happened after I hit a big pothole on the highway. My bass shut off for half an hour, then came back on, but it fades from full power to half power. It sounds like 1 of the subs is having a bad connection, and keeps kicking in and out. The weird thing is, that when I check it, everything works fine, but when I drive, thats when the weird stuff begins. Obviously I can't check the subs when I'm driving. I checked just about everything. Could it be, that the pot hole, damaged the capacitor, and it's causing it to not charge and discharge properly?

maybe a connection inside the amp With your system on, try tapping on your amp and see if it happens.

Most likely a loose wire. Could be a power or ground wire. Or a speaker wire.

I've seen the same thing, but it was a cheap fuse holder.
