people who had an infinity basslink installed...
I've seen and heard of (and also gotten quotes from several shops) people getting their basslink installed for around 60-80 bucks.
Thing is, I've been reading other posts that say I need $100 worth of adaptors alone to get it to work with my Bose 2k2.
Question is: Did these people get it installed for cheap because they have a non-bose? If they had bose, how did a shop install it for 60 without the 100 dollars of adaptors that everyone says I need?
I think about doing it myself, but I only get more confused as I go...
What do you think?

Re: people who had an infinity basslink installed...
I installed my Basslink myself in a non-Bose 03 but I think the use of adaptors is if you're replacing the radio or speakers. With the Bose system, most of the wiring is already in the trunk (other than running a thick wire from the battery and grounding the unit) so I'd think the install would actually be cheaper.
If I were to do it again I'd have it installed though Took me the better part of a Saturday to do mine.
