ok need help on how to install the screen i just got from a group deal from Redmax. Not sure what kind of custom work needs to be done. Dont want to mess up dash. Also when installing did you install the 12volt to the Radio harness. ALl help appricatied.

 

When you take out the dash, you will see the two metal plates that hold the stock HU(as well as the heater controls). When you take them apart to remove the HU, you should see how the screen will fit into the opening. When you put those two metal plates back together, they will wedge the screen in and it won't move. There are 4 wires coming off the screen. the yellow connector is for the video input. The black connects to ground and the orange and red ones go to power. I can't remember which one goes to contant and which goes to ignition, but there should be a sheet that tells you. I connected the positive to the positive for the radio. The switched one, I connected to a switch that I mounted in the ash tray(this way I could shut the screen off when I'm not using it).
