I'm looking at the Alpine IVA-D900... but someone suggested to get the Clarion VRX935VD...

I know the quality of Alpine, but I know nothing about Clarion... can someone offer their opinions?

The only differences between these two head units and screens are the Clarion offer more pre-amp power, and it's touch screen...

 

clarion isn't a bad brand, but the alpine screen is top notch.

 

i always thought the clarion screens had the best resolution?

 

This clarion says 336,950 pixel display and the Alpine has 1.15 million pixels in the same size 7" screen...

I think the Alpine has a better pre-amp out...
