Pioneer Deck-Help Identifying Wires

Hi,

I have an old Pioneer DEH-P5600 Cassette Deck(97-98 era) I am using to replace the BOSE system in my 92 max. My problem is the wires from the back of the deck are not labeled, and the manual does not identify the colors. So I would appreciate it if someone cold tell me what colors would correspond to these.

Left Rear Speaker +
Right Rear Speaker +
Left Rear Speaker -
Right Rear Speaker -
Amp Turn On

Those are the wire labels on the harness I got.

The color wires from the Pioneer head unit are:

Black
Black/Grey Stripe
Grey/Red Stripe
Black/Green Stripe
Blue/Red Stripe
Orange
Green
Green/Black Stripe
Grey
Grey/Black Stripe
Red
Blue

I tried Pioneer's web site and they have no info on the older models.

Please help me.

On a side note how do the front speakers get a signal if their is no pin on the harness for them?

Thanks

David

The amp turn on is the same as the power antenna wire on most Pioneers. That would be the blue wire. As far as the speakers go, here is a guess. These are the speaker wires, but I forget exactly which ones are which...

Green = left speaker +
Green/Black Stripe = left speaker -
Grey = right speaker +
Grey/Black Stripe = right speaker -
Black/Grey Stripe = speaker -
Grey/Red Stripe = speaker +
Black/Green Stripe = speaker -
Blue/Red Stripe = speaker +

Please keep in mind that I am not 100% sure on this. That is why some info is missing. Hopefully, this will help you or someone else can give you better info. Also, Radio Shack's car audio uses the same wiring as Pioneer. You could probably buy a new harness with labelled wires for like $10.(copy down the color codes and return the new one)
