What is the exact definition of what a proximity sensor does (the technical explination) and can I add a proximity sensor to the Clifford Matrix RS3?

Pearl is right, but if that picture shows the car it is going in, you will have alot of false alarms because of the tinted windows. If the tint is good stuff, the metal flakes that make the window film dark will reflect the microwaves from the sensor back to itself, causing a false alarm.

Im actually taking the tint off this weeek. I think that is the main reason for the break-ins.
