okay here is the deal you have to change everything the speakers, head unit , wires and anything else you want to put in .see a bose unit is set different what it is sends a signal to the and it amplifies it but a head unit send a amplified singnal and power on top of power fries the system

Whoever fed you this crapload of info should be removed from being near vehicles. Its plain and simply - FALSE. Quite easy to add to the OEM Bose, try reading the FAQs before spouting out info that your clearly wrong on.

Plenty of ways of doing it.

But the way to get the best sound is to replace everything, though not at all necessary for a more simple setup....

Does that seem backwards to anyone else?
Maybe not backwards, but why keep the bose HU?

Not sure why you're laughing...I know what he's saying...don't use an aftermarket (amplified) head unit with the the bose amps too. Makes sense. The only problem with his statement, besides the horrendous grammar, is that he didn't say there are ways to make it work. Such as, using the pre-outs on the HU to send an un-amplified signal to the stock bose amps. Or in this case, getting an amp for the speakers since the bose HU is not amplified.
