I want a temporary solution for base due to insufficient funds and the fear of getting it jacked at school. I have a pioneer 5500 headunit rite now with stock speakers. I was thinking about upgrading the speakers to TS-G1647 (cheap and efficient) then adding a used bose sub. I've seen the bose subs around for about $20. This will havta be a temporary solution for about 1 year until i get more money. The only thing i am not sure is if this is possible and if the bose sub comes with an amp on it already or would i need a new amp??
