electrical probelms, please help

Hey guys i got a problem i wanna see if i can get some advice on. I'm a maxima lover but im forced to drive a 93 dodge spirit around for now. Anyways the other day the car wouldnt start so i got it jumped and got down to my autozone and got a new battery and terminals cause i was running a system of the old battery which i figured was old enough. SO i put the new battery and terminals on and the car started right up and was fine for about a day, but the next day my volt meter started to jump and dipped down to about 10 or 11 while i was driving, so i pulled over and turned the car off and started it back up and it was fine, but it has been jumping the last two days now and when i turn on an accesory like my lights or wipers it dips a little. ( I allready disconnected my system by the way). So I was thinking my alternator but i unhooked my pos terminal while it was running and it was fine for 15 minutes so i hooked that back up, and then i did the negative to make sure my computer was confused with the new battery, but that isnt working. So i'm kinda stumped here as to why my volt meter is jumping randomlly. Any ideas or advice is welcome. Thanks.

Where exactly is your volt meter jumping from and too. It will move. Usally from around 12.4 to 14.4 sometimes more somtimes less, usally between.

If thats kewl...Check all the grounds...Make sure the cables are tight.

no its usually stable at 14 with evertythign running including my system, im talkign its down around 10 and 11, very very low, so low im surprised i made it home the other night. But its odd, itll be fine for a little bit, then just drop from 14 to 11, then randomlly back up, im also gettin a check engine light from time to time with it, not that im driving it around i just mean when im trying different things with the grounds and such in my driveway.

The car can usally run fine with over 11 volts, it's below 10 where it sucks a monkey. Not that 11 is good. Sounds like somthing is pulling some serious current...And are you sure the volt gauge is acurate? That could be going to.
