Need help choosing a woofer.

I want one 12" or 10" speaker in an enclosure. What is the best speaker for the money? Looking for nice clean bass not competion winning thump .

Thanks but could you be more specific. I looked on online car stereo and they range from $99-$499 each for 10"s.

I just installed a 12". It's just what you wanted, nice clean bass. I bought a Kicker CompVR. Yes I know it says Competition, but don't worry, it's nice with the 12" sealed box. It RMS is 400 watts and Peak is 800 watts.

compVRs are probably some of the best bump for your buck. 2 of those in a nice ported box should be fine =]

Just save some aggravation in the long run and buy from a local store that is actually Authorized and allowed to sell those products. Yes it is cheaper now, but just pray nothing goes wrong..

Adire Audio and Elemental Designs both make good clean subs. Exactly which sub you want will depend on your impresion of what music is supposed to sound like. And so long as names are being proliferated look into Focal, Dynaudio, and Morel. The three have long standing traditions of quality. Also listen to Boston Acoustics, JBL, and Image Dynamics.

I totally understand your point and as an Authorized reseller I expect it. Here was my issue. I went to some local sereo shops to price my components. Sub was 160 Amp was 360. At ikesound.com, I paid 85 and 175. For half the price, I can warranty it myself.

On another note, Do you sell Pioneer? If so, what is the price on the DEH-5500M. I think that is the model.
