i got my headunit and the the speakers changed, but this is not the amp for my speakers but the woofers. so im not dealing with the stock stereo. I need the instruction on how to go about this.

Just the basic info....You need to run a power wire from the battery into the trunk, Patch cord from the radio into the trunk, remote lead from radio to the trunk (usually a blue wire), ground the amp somewhere in the trunk and hook up the speaker wires from the sub box to the amp. Also don't run your power wire in the same spot as the patch cord and remote lead. Typical way of doing this is to run the power wire up the drivers side of the car and the patch cord and remote up either the center console or the prefered way up the passengers side of the car.

It could allow the signal from the power wire to interfere with the signal wire. It is better to have them far away. Not required, but recommended.

I'm currently running all my patch cords & power on the same side, so I'll see how that works out when I hookup my amps. I'm doing this 'cause my patch cords aren't long enough to reach from the other side, but then if it's a problem I might be able to redo the setup with longer patch cords.

Running the power and signal wires together will more than likely cause a problem... Most typically you'll hear a whine from the speakers that goes up in pitch as your RPM's go up...

ok guys,
so the step is
1. battery to amps
2. amps to receiver
3. ground wire to any socket on the back
4. woofers to the amp
is this correct?
and the other thing
how do i get my back seat to fold down?
i own a 95 gxe and i can't seem to get the back seat to fold,
usually there's a key hole where you put the key in to fold it down but i do not have it.
Please help me
Thanks

5. Remote to Amp
and as far as I know the seats do not fold down. Atleast not in my 95 GLE, might be different on yours but I doubt it.
