tried search, but found nothing. i am looking to install a dvd player in my car. Havent quite figured out where, but thought about the glove box (measured and it will fit). i already have a 600watt power inverter which plugs into the cigarette lighter. my question is how could i "hide" the power inverter and use the cigarette outlet too? (for a phone charger or something) SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

cut the plug off and tap into the wires behind it. metal nub in the middle is pos and the metal casing around it is the ground

thanks nismo, but a little more detail? i know i sound like a newbie, but cut what wire and tap to what?

Cut the cigarette ligher plug off of the inverter and wire it directly to the wires on the back of the cigarette lighter. Tuck the wire under the bottom of the center console and mount the inverter under your seat.
