What I was trying to tell you is that they are direct fit. They are not aftermarket speakers. I guess you never took your doors off. Take your door off and you will see what everyone is talking about

He wants stock bose speakers for his doors. They dont change the size of the bose speakers. If im not mistaken and someone correct me if I'm wrong the hole is 6.75 and the speaker is a 6.5 but with the brackets on the bose speakers it fits perfectly. If you tried to fit aftermarket 6.5's in the space it wouldnt fit because they need something to mount on.

Personally I would not waste my time or money on Bose speakers for car. Even if I had to go 6 months with no sound to save the money for something else I would not put bose in my car. But many aren't as picky as me. I prefer no sound rather than bad sound.

Well to some people who arent picky about sound and not looking for competition sound quality, the bose is fine. I cant believe you said you rather go with no sounds at all rather than listening to a bose. Whatever floats ya boat...

yes I am that picky. If I were to have a boat, or build a boat, it would likely be kevlar with epoxy resin.
