Need input on what to buy(subs and amp)

The time has come and I am ready to upgrade my sub and amp. I currently have 1 American Bass 12" VL sub being pushed by an American Bass SQ500(200w rms) amp in a bandpass box.

I am looking for 2 12" subs and an amp to replace my current setup. What do you guys think I could get for around $600 max? I was thinking about 2 adire audio shivas and a jbl 600.1 in a sealed box. That would end up costing me around $450 + shipping and the cost of a box.

So can you guys find me a better setup then what i just mentioned? I am open to any ideas. I am looking for something with a good mix of SQ and SPL.

Thanks,
Lyth

The Shiva is a great sub (I have two in my home theater) but you have some other options in that price range. The Dayton DVC 12 actually does a little better than the Shiva in a small sealed box. Build quality is the same (both built by Eminence). The SAE1204 is also a good small box performer (and cheaper) and it is available at Stryke or Apex Jr.. It looks like is it also built by Eminence. For a little more you can go with the Dayton DSQ 12.4 or the Adire DPL 12 (on sale right now). And finally for just a little bit more you can get the Stryke AV12. The AV12 is actually at the next level in subs. All of the other subs mentioned above have an XMAX in the mid to high teens, the AV12 has a 26mm XMAX. It's built like a tank by TC Sounds, the same company that makes subs for Eclipse and Elemental Designs.

THose subs are great. I also like your choice of AMP. It is not the most feature rich. For that price, nothing can tough it.
