Neon hardwire question

I have 2 neon tubes hooked up to a music interface, and I was wondering how to hardwire the music interface so it only comes on when my car is on.

Why not wire it to a switch? I know the drain is minimal to the battery but I prefer to be able to reduce power drain because my alternator already whines when my system is on. It's a much louder whine when I have my headlights, foglights, ac on too...
