In a few short weeks, I will be installing an Eclipse head unit in my Max. I have already tested it out and love the tape section. Also, the place that is doing it will be giving me a break on the unit, remote, and installation.

Will I be adding more to the system? Perhaps. I am kicking a few ideas and may implement if time and dough permit.

Good Luck

On the install. Say PrinzII where are you getting it done? I definitely like the Eclipse line of radios and I am thinking about getting one. Let me know where and your take on the unit. Thanks!!

I already demoed the 4441 with a good mix tape and found the tape section rather impressive. Plus, it comes with an optional remote control. I am getting it installed at Fox Security on 99th & Cicero. Later, I may get a CD changer (5083) but I have not decided how I am going to place it.
Also, another spot to check out is Music in Motion around 144th and Cicero. They carry some very good stuff over there (e.g. a/d/s, Focal, McIntosh, Kenwood Excelon, Diamond, Xtant).

The main reason I am getting the Eclipse is that I eventually plan to put a 700-1000 watt SQ+ system in either a Blazer, Trailblazer and/or Impala SS featuring a/d/s, McIntosh, Audio Control, and Eclipse.

Dusty,

I will be putting the radio in my car this Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes.

Will do. Probably after I get the timing belt/water pump done, I am going to install the CD changer under the seat.
