Yes put it on a switch, you can actually use the same one as the FM-Mod

sorry, new to installs, but what is FM-Mod? Also, when I use the switch does it get connected to the constant or ignition power line? I was looking at this one from radio shack: http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...5Fid=275%2D730

Looks like there are 3 connectors. Does the positive get connected on each end and gorund in the middle?

Thanks again!!

heres the wires
red
black
orange

if u use switch...

connect red to a positve(such as cig lighter) then connect both those wires to postive side of switch

then connect orange to actual TURN on part of switch

and ground goes to ground
