reciever wiring?

when my 93 max got totalled i pulled out the indash reciever and cd changer(also in dash)... i am trying to install it in my 98 (w/bose). the harness on the reciever does not connect with the factory wiring harness in the car. on installdr.com the harnesses look the same for both cars and the one on my hu looks like the one on installdr.com (both cars on the site say the directions are for non bose). i know my last car had a bose system too. the reciever and changer were professionally installed and worked fine.

i dont know why the reciever has a different harness than in the car. do bose and non bose systems have different harnesses?

is the wiring differnet for a 93 and 98?

i hope i explained this well enough

im sure there is a simpel answer, but i just dont know it
thanks

Yes the wiring is different for Bose and non Bose, also very different for 93-98.
