blue/white wire and think i blew a fuse

i wired up my hu and changer today and plugged it in to give it a try...no luck (only the antenna went up)

i left out the blue/white wire thats for amp turn on...do i need that with the hu (no external amp) and if so, where should i put it.

tried to get the stock (bose) stereo plugged back in...no dice
i probably blew a fuse somewhere...what fuse do you guys think it could be? are all the fuses located to the left of the steering column?

please help and thank you

if i remember correctly i thought that the blue wire is for the power antenna and the blue/white is for remote. Yes the the fuse box is to the left of the steering column. I just wired my remote wire to the cigarette fuse, since it comes on when the key is turned.

You probably need to check the stereo fuse, or at least the acc fuse depending on your Max. I think 5th gen have separate fuses for the two. Might have just crossed a wire while you were tinkering with the harness, so maybe you didn't wire anything wrong after all.

But, you should be running the blue/white wire to turn on the changer, assuming the changer is separate. If the HU is the changer, then nevermind.

OK, now you just need to start double checking that you connected all the right wires. Double check the instructions for the wire harness.

We have to find someone with a 4th gen to help you. I know on the 5th gent here are more plugs than that, but the 4th

The aftermarket HU you have, it will probably have another fuse on it's yellow wire (constant power). Check that one too. It's probably in a little black box along the wire.

What specific head unit and changer do you have? Maybe we can find a manual online to help a little.

ok thanks...i see the little black box with the fuse. out of the changer a gray and red wire go to a connector that connects to a similar gray and red wire going into the black box with a big violet/purple colored fuse (no power rating given and its not blown) the red wire then goes to the yellow and the gray to ground...should i try to replace the fuse even though its not blown and i dont know what power it is?

the reciever and changer are blaupunkt, here are the links to the pdf files of the manuals

HU - Blaupunkt Muenchen RDM169 I dont see wiring info
http://www.blaupunktusa.com/pdfs/receivers/Muenchen.pdf

Changer - Blaupunkt IDC-A09 Page 15 for Wiring Info
http://www.blaupunktusa.com/pdfs/changers/IDC_A09.pdf

Thanks for the help...i really am confused why bose doesnt work <---if that doesnt work i dont know if i can get the blaupunkt to work
