System on a Budget

I'm really wondering how the Bose system sounds hooked up to an aftermarket deck? Is it a better or worse? Here's my delima, I can get a HU on the hook up from my boy, but my wife has put me on a limit of funds that I can spend. The deciding between the Alpine 9815, Pioneer premier Deh740mp, or a Kenwood KDC X869. I can get all these for under $300 or maybe even the Kenwood for $175.00.(Still checking on that one.)
Well, the question I'm posing is, should I get a less expensive cd player so that I can get new front and rear speakers also. My budget is $300, so the cd players above would take it all. Or I can save up for a while or get the speakers for Christmas. I don't know what to do.

Also, sorry guys I can't hook anyone up for these prices. I'm getting it from my boy and his manager is cool with me too, he has to sign off on it. Thank for any help.

WOAAAAH!!!! If you can get an 869 for that price DO IT! It doesnt matter if you need it or not.
The alpine is also a very nice unit, that would be a deal as well, bu not as much of a deal as the 869 would be... But since you are not me, you should probably get the Alpine unit, and take the extra money and get some new Rear coaxial speakers, then at christmas, get some nice components. Yes, it will sound off balance etc, but once you get the components up front, you will be happy you waited to replace them in that order.
Oh and I like your car, clean!

You will need the PAC adapter to get sound to stock Bose speakers from an aftermarket deck. I have it for sale if youre interested. Let me know.

You will definately need the adapter, wiring harness, diversity antenna adapter and trim kit. Therefore, don't spend all $300 on the HU because you have about $100 worth of extras needed.

Hey Gjohnson, I am auctioning off my Pioneer 8400MP on Ebay, the auction ends tomorrow (Tuesday). Its at $202 right now. I just got an '04 maxima and had that installed for about a year in my civic. Great head unit, and it plays mp3s which was the best thing ever. Anyways, if you want to check out the auction and bid on it, please do! Its in great shape, just a little peeling off the volume **** as you'll see in the picture on the auction, but functions perfectly. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=39752&rd=1

So I will need a adapter and a wiring harness??? Also, I was wondering from anyone that has a kenwood hu. I've been looking online at the kenwood and I see that it has a 3 pre-outs; front, rear and non-fading. Is the non-fading labled a sub out, or have the same functions. I'm wondering because I have an amp and 2 12's that I plan on running.

$40 shipped is a steal. I bought it for $60 shipped 2 weeks ago.

Well after much thought and consideration I've decided to go with the Kenwood. Although, I really like the eclipse line better, I just can't pass up that deal. I was actually wrong before, the kenwood hu that I'm getting is the KDC X969, and I'm getting it for $195.00. Thanks for all the input, I'll post pics when I get it.
