Amp kit, PAC AOEM-NIS2 and some time to install.

u dont need the pac aoem nis2 u can splice rca's off the speaker level inputs that run to the bose speakers since they are low level already and use those rca's directly to ur amp

That is an option, but you are converting an amplified crossed over signal. The AEOM-NIS2 pulls the power before amplification. Therefore, it is a cleaner sound IMO.

Would it be worth it to buy the adapter, if you were planning on gutting out the bose system around Christmas? This is probably what I will be doing. Will it affect the sound quality that much.

If that is the case, buy the PAC SNI-35. If you are interested in buying a used one, I will sell it for $15 shipped.

What is the PAC SNI-35? How is it different from the PAC AOEM NIS2?

The SNI 35 is your basic line livel adapter. Tap into the + and - of your rear speakes and it converts that into RCAs. The NIS2 is a harness that plugs in behind the radio prior to amplification. Both will work fine, but the NIS2 is gonna sound a little better. If you plan on ripping it out anyway, the SNI-35 will be fine.
