question about stereo
well i have a one sub set up and it sounds really good but when i play at high volumes the bass seems to cut out it still there but not hitting as hard as lower volume? what do u think is the problem? not enought power to subs. i have a alpine type r spec are 300 rms and 1000 peak and my alpine amp is 300 rms and 600 max. well let me know

Please tell us more to able to help you out...What headunit? Gauge power wire? ground? All music? Or just radio or CD? What other speakers are in the car? Stock or Aftermarket...Etc...

your gain could also be up too high at lower volume it will definately pound but when it is turned up you will add distortion and clipping.
Like DOn said give us more info so we can give you a better diagnosis. ALso do you have the crossover activated on the amp?
