Hey I was just wondering how everybody braces their boxes in the trunk. Mine slides all over the place. I figured the easiest way would be to use a L shaped bracket, but I'm a little leary about that. Cause on one of my old cars I tried this old trick and I drilled 3 holes in my gas tank.

my box just stays put, i guess the carpet on the box and the carpet in the trunk provided enough friction to keep it from sliding all over the place.

I am planning on mounting my sub in the corner and using straps (I used to have an 8" tube in a convertible under the top)

Depending on where the best sound from my sub comes from, either between the rear wheel wells or from one wheel well to near where the tail lights are. Plus, if you need to access your jack and/or spare, you can easily undo the straps instead of carrying around a screwdriver to unscrew your L brackets.

Some folks have used velcro on the bottom of their boxes...sticks to the carpet pretty well and keeps it from sliding around.

Build a false trunk floor.... Just be creative. You cant really do a write up.. I mean its YOUR CUSTOM work. Unique.. Be creative and design your own.
