I was looking into the JBL Component Speakers. Anyone have any knowledge of any of their series of speakers?

 

I have heard them and they are decent. better speakers out there for the money though.

 

Forget the JBL's. JBL makes great home audio, but their car stuff is not that great. I would consider Orion XTR's, Orion HCCA's, or MB Quarts

 

Boston Acoustics are what I like, there are many brands out there

 

JBL has the resources to make the best stereo equipment for any application. And they use their resources wisely. The best speaker for one car will not be the best for another. Every ear is different. Use yours to make the decision on what will go into your car. But don't forget that the number of variables that change between a showroom and your car are too great to just listen blindly. A speaker that sounds horrible on a soundroom board can sound great in a good install.
