Blown Driver in JL Stealthbox

Well Guys... Looks like I blew the speaker in my stealthbox for my 97 gle. I was looking for any reccomendations of 10 inch subs that I can put in the box as a replacement. Looking for something that won't require me to have to cut or force fit it into the stealthbox. I was looking on circuit city's website and was leaning towards the polk or kenwood 10 inch driver. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Thanx...

Well I am not sure of the actual enclosure size of the box, but for the 10W JL recommeds to put it in a 0.4 to 0.8cf Sealed enclosure. When you make your choice on subs ensre that it is somewhere within spec of the other sub otherwise you will have a very low end sounding system.

WHy not just buy another W6?

You must replace it with the same sub. There is so much R&D in those boxes. They use transfer functions, and specifically design that box for that sub for that car. I guarantee you will not be satisfied with a different speaker after listening to what you have had.
