DVC wiring

Hey yall i was just wondering, how do you wire dvc...do you connect the negative on one coil to the negative on the other coil with a piece of speaker wire, and then run another wire to the amp from one of the negative coils and do the same thing for the positive?

It all depends:
Lets say that you have a dual 2Ohm sub. You can either get it to run at 1 or 4 ohms. You need to know if you amp is stable at low ohms.
Parallel: (2ohm DVC = 1ohm)
(-) to (-) and (+) to (+)
then take the negative from one side to the negative of the amp and same for the positive.

Series: (2ohm DVC = 4ohms)
(-) from one side of the sub to the (+) of the other side of sub. Then take the (-) not being used and run it to the (-) side of amp and the (+) not being used and run it to the (+) of the amp.
