For example when i turn the vol. up, there wouldnt even be any shhh sound... Anyways, they gave it back today, and it still doesnt work!! Im ****ed now! On the sheet the gave me they claimed they re-soldered a IC301... Any ideas??? Im sick of this? Im already about to rewire and get rid of my bose.. but i wanna make sure this thing works! Help!

one of your speaker wires is probably grounded to the body. That would cause no sound to come out of any of the speakers.

while everything else, seems to work perfectly.

This could be true but he would at least get sound from the other channel if it is a 4 channel HU.

Did you try hooking up the HU do not hookup the speakers to the ones in the doors. Take an external speaker in hand (Providing you have one) and tap onto each wire and verify you get sound.....ofcourse this may not be possible if you already have it wired to the harness.

its wired to a harness. But what surprises me is on the warranty report they infact soldered something in there. Which leads me to believe they did infact, find something wrong with it... Ya no? Ima give them a call in a second and see whatsup.

no, he would not. I speak from experience. I can 99% guarantee you thats the problem.

get in the back of the headunit, and unhook all speaker wires, and take 1 speaker and hook it up directly in the back.

The shop said to bring it in to them tomorrow. I figure Ima bring it in just in case. Im installing on my new stuff next week (speakers, amp, new wiring)... Also there was a loose wire that hooks to my rear bose speaker.. my mom put stuff in the trunk I didnt no.. started up the car and it made a static sound and went out...
