Dual Voice Coil Subs

Is it possible to bridge a dual voice sub, to a dual channel amp?
If it works is there anything bad that can happen? Like chronic overheating of the sub and amp ect?

You can put voice coils in Parallel or Series. If you do Parallel it will be half the value of one of the VC. If you series it the value will double the value of one of the VC.
How about you let us know what kinda sub and amp you have?
