should my crossovers be glowing?

i've got some 3-way crossovers for my front speaker setup. i was driving tonight and noticed an odd glow from under the seats. every time my music was at a loud point and there was obviously a lot of sound, they were glowing. is that normal? they have a clear case. have i just not noticed this yet?

Yes they should be glowing, it the crossoverers taking some of the power awayfrom your tweeters so they wont blow.

some x-overs have an LED or bulb to do this. This has to be it, because if they had no bulb and were glowing, your car would have caught fire by now.
