rear deck speakers

I have a 96 with a non-bose sound system. I checked on crutchfield.com and they list a very limited number of 6-3/4" speakers for the rear deck compared to the front. Does anyone know why this is so? Shouldn't the same speakers fit in the rear, or is it a depth issue?

In particular, I'm looking at getting the Infinity 652.5i for the rear, but they are not listed for the rear deck.

I think what they are talking about is that of a "direct fit", meaning just unscrew the old ones and dropping the new ones with no modifications. You can, actually, make many types of speakers fit with modifications. You may have to drill, cut opening to shape, or just install a custom bracket. Believe me, I modified my speakers to fit plenty of times when I had my '95 and they worked out great!
