A flip-out screen or just a screen?

Contact David Burnette (daveb@adpub.com) at South Point Nissan (or call him at 888-254-6060) for the 2000 "GXE Ventilator" dash trim; well worth the price of about $100. Tell him you don't need the pocket, and you can save some money.

So do you just need the pocket? Because that can be had at circuit city for about $20.

yea, i need a pocket that will fit normally with an aftermarket deck in my 2k. What is the difference between the piece at circuit city and what rob van dam is asking about?

From what I can gather, everyone seems to think that Rob Van Dam wants the entire dash trim peice. You know that has the vents and triming that goes around the deck and dash. The pocket is a aftermarket part that you need if you already have a double din unit and you are going to a single din unit, like me. I have the bose hu now with the tape and cd, but I am replacing it with a kenwood hu that is a single din unit, so I picked up the pocket from circuit city so that it will fit properly. I haven't got to install it yet, because it is taking sooooo long to recieve my hu directly form kenwood.

Okay, then you need the pocket that goes with it then. The vents are one peice with the trim because it comes so close to the vents, Nissan just molded it as one piece. Order it from Dave B. Trust me, many people have gotten it and it is worth it. The standard dash trim, such as the one at Crutchfield and local shops, is black plastic and looks ghetto cuz it doesn't match. Scocshe makes a color matched one, but it doesn't fit well and you will need to drill new holes in your brackets and in the end it still doesn't look as good as the GXE trim from Dave B.
