I have a Pezo horn mounted in my vents, really loud, bright, can be painful at the right time. Are they worth it? That's up to you, I got mine really cheap and wanted the added level of comfort, just sucks when I program my alarm cause I forget its there till it chirps

How would you hook something like that up?? I wanted to hook up an air horn to my alarm but I heard if you hook it up to the siren channel you can end up burning it out and then your screwed.

If it's the little piezo siren (dei 513t)from dei, I have one in my engine bay. I can that thing more than i can hear my normal siren. It is loud. For ~$20 I would get one. You just hook it up like your normal siren

I have 2 of them in my air vents right above the radio, and they are well worth the price of admission. It is ok to hook 1 up to the existing siren output, but when you get more than one on there, you should run them from a relay. The other cool thig about them, is that if you are going to install them yourself, there is a little hole in the back of the air vent that you can use to mount the siren to. Take off the little bracket on the siren, and use the screw to anchor it to the side of the vent. You will see it as soon as you pull the air vent asembly out of the dash, right on the outside edge. Good luck.

If you hook it up to the siren, then yes.
