Some pics of my new system

Only thing I didn't build was the sub box, the rest was all done in two nights after work.

I'll add some night pics to show off the neon.

The wood was about $10 from homedepot. The plexiglass was from homedepot too but I don't remember how much it was. I want to say around $15. The carpet was around $40 for a huge roll.

Behind the rear seat there is a huge piece of sheet metal. The box is mounted to that via wood screws.

A mail order place call selective products. They sell car audio installation goodies. ie. tools, materials, hardware.

Looks really clean Tony.

What kind of wood did you use for the floor of the trunk and how think would you say it is?

I got the wood from home depot. I believe it's birch plywood. Someone mentioned birch plywood was the lightest of the plywood. I don't remember the exact thickness. It's around 3/4". The false floor weights alittle less than 20lbs.

I have the stock bumper back on right now and I'm plan on throwing the two pieces ionic rear valance on. I might eventually buy the urathane version of the skyline bumper though but I'm not sure yet.
