Alpine SPR-174A 6.5 coax install question

I had these speakers put in the rear deck of my 99sel. Today I had to adjust the amp today so I was back in the trunk poking around and noticed that there are actually two inputs and two sets of wires going to each speaker. I figure that the speaker can probably be bi-amped. But the thing is- I only have a five channel amp and this amp handles the fronts, ther rears and the single 10' sub. So how can the speaker be bi amped if I dont have andopther amp to do so? The wires coming from the amp seem to be exactly how they should be. 5 total channels, equaling 10 wires to go to the sepeakers- so why do i have a total of 4 wires going to each of my rear coaxes? Anybody familiar witrh these speakers?

My guess is you have an external crossover... It may be hidden somewhere. I'm not familiar with these speakers.

Yup... it looks like they do have an inline crossover:

Those speakers sound pretty darn nice, don't they?

They sound great, until you listen to the SPX's I made that mistakes with the spr-176a's.... side by side there is no comparison.
