My gf asked for a headunit that plays mp3's and that is "pretty". I don't think she's too interested in Sq or crazy features. Can someone recommend a brand and a model and a reputable place to buy?

I personally would go with eclipse or alpine, but she doesn't like the way alpines look (she wants volume ***** instead of buttons) and I think eclipse are too simple for her.

Sony seems kinda cheapy. I think maybe a pioneer, or kenwood would be good.

i just bought my gf a HU.. And yes she does drive a Maxima.. a better one than mines. (hers 97, mines 91) Its her third one already and she's only 21. I kinda got her hooked on Maximas.

Anyway, her Bose didn't play CD's like many other peoples and she wanted MP3's so i got an Alpine.. She wanted something cool looking like a pioneer, or kenwood but i got her the Alpine 9811.. I just bought the brand i would buy for myself.
